FAQ

What skincare concerns do Emepelle skincare products address?

Emepelle skincare products address perimenopause- and menopause-related skin changes caused by declining estrogen, including dryness, dullness, thinning, and loss of firmness.

Is Emepelle worth the money?

Emepelle is a premium two-step routine. It is worth considering if your main concerns are menopause-related dryness, dullness and loss of firmness. Emepelle reports clinical improvements in hydration, luminosity and firmness, and shows results with the Serum in the morning and the Night Cream in the evening. Results vary from person to person, and retinol in the Night Cream can irritate, so introduce it slowly. If you want help choosing, ask our team.

Does Emepelle contain estrogen?

No. Emepelle says MEP is not estrogen and not a hormone replacement, and that it acts only on the skin. Emepelle describes its Serum and Night Cream as non-hormonal. Emepelle says MEP helps restore the natural function of Estrogen Deficient Skin.

Who should check with a doctor before using Emepelle?

Speak with your doctor first if you have a history of breast cancer, a uterine or ovarian disorder, or any other medical condition. Emepelle says MEP has not been tested in people with specific medical conditions. Retailer listings also advise against use during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, while trying to conceive, or with melasma. The Night Cream contains retinol, so if you are new to retinol, start two or three nights a week.

What are signs of perimenopause skin changes?

Signs of perimenopause skin changes include tightness, flakiness, dryness, itching and burning, redness, loss of firmness, dark spots (hyperpigmentation), and acne. Dry skin can continue during and after menopause. These changes have many causes, so see a clinician if they are sudden or severe.

What is MEP Technology® and how does it work?

MEP Technology® is a patented non-hormonal ingredient. Emepelle says it helps address collagen loss and restore the natural function of Estrogen Deficient Skin. Emepelle reports improved hydration and firmer, smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

Do I need to use the Emepelle Serum and Night Cream together?

They are designed as one routine, and they fit into simple daytime and nighttime skincare routines. Emepelle’s own before-and-after photos use the Serum in the morning and the Night Cream in the evening. The Serum is lightweight and carries antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. The Night Cream carries the higher MEP level plus retinol. Using only one is possible, but Emepelle recommends the pair.

About Emepelle

Emepelle is the first and only skincare line built on patented MEP Technology®, an ingredient that specifically addresses Estrogen Deficient Skin (EDS). Common symptoms include dryness, thinness, and loss of firmness brought on by menopause and perimenopause skin changes. La Suite is an authorized retailer of these perimenopause and menopause skincare products, including Emepelle Night Cream and Emepelle Serum.

MEP Technology®

Emepelle's patented MEP (Methyl Estradiolpropanoate) is a non-hormonal ingredient that activates the skin's own estrogen receptors without entering the bloodstream. MEP helps restore lost collagen and is clinically proven to improve dryness, dullness, laxity, atrophy, and the appearance of fine lines, for more youthful-looking skin. Both Emepelle Serum and Emepelle Night Cream are formulated with MEP®, with the Night Cream featuring a higher concentration of the active ingredient.
